We have all had those moments when we are feeling at some kind of "loss" for what to think, say or do. We planned to have life go one way and maybe work at a goal for quite some time and JUST when we think it's all going to work out and we have come to some accomplished finish line...the rug gets pulled out from under us and the door shuts. Maybe the finish line was about to be reached but the proper paper work wasn't done and that wasn't realized until meeting day and the whole deal fell through. Maybe you trusted someone that ended up not being able to show up for you in the way they intended or seemed to intend. Whatever the situation, your left staring at the stars or your cup of coffee wondering one universal question "WTF"
In those very moments of processing~STOP~ take 3 long deep breaths~ feel your feet and lower body get heavy and grounded to the earth~think of 5 things you appreciate (about anything..eyes, toes...) and then breath again 3 times. It's healthy to really FEEL the emotion (energy in motion) so cry, yell, laugh but in the mean time, these mini practices should help you to process quicker at least may get you to a feeling that something will work out...maybe not in the package that you were aiming to experience but a direction towards something better, more fulfilling.
A good color to have to fully experience the emotion is red for passion but also for the root chakra to ground. Then once you have calmed down~ light purple or sky blue are nice soothing colors to keep you in flow. DRINK WATER! Here's a little bit for you and why it's so important to drink water (flavor it with herbs or a few blueberries at the bottom or slice of cucumber) B and C vitamins are WATER soluble and B's are helpful for brain function and C's are helps the bodies defenses. I usually suggest 75 oz a day for anyone and more on work out days but at least get 50 to 60. What's easy, is to get a bottle that is 25oz and fill it and drink it at least twice a day. That way you don't have to count so many glasses. Carry that filtered water with you everywhere. Talk to it "You're amazing" "I am healthy" etc. Water has memory: be nice to it, be nice to yourself.
I have decided to add music to go with these posts as I believe in the therapeutic benefits of music
First: Sense by Tom Odell for the intense parts
Second: Ethereal by Amethystium
It's healthy to honor whatever your feeling and really accept it, then work towards a solution.
